I've been a pitcher since I was born, and I fell in love with the game at a very young age; I was raised on softball. I can't think of a better future than to play at a college level. I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my dreams, including training every day, taking nutrition seriously, maintaining a high academic standard and practicing at every available moment. I am a student of the game, watching as many College Softball games as time allows. Where some athletes seem to be able to have God given talent, picking up new skills seeming as easy to them as drinking water, I, on the other hand, have worked very hard for every milestone which is something that I've learned to be proud of; it has taught me about commitment, hard-work and payoff! There is a quote that I look at everyday (it's on my bedroom wall) "HARD WORK BEATS TALENT WHEN TALENT STOPS WORKING HARD." I believe this to my core and never take any milestone or improved skills for granted. I will never become complacent in my sport. Nothing makes me happier than being on the field, working on my craft and pushing myself to the best that I can be. Additionally, I am team player, thinking of what is best for my team before my own needs / wants. As a person, a few words people have used to describe me are confident, kind, loyal, dedicated and high spirited.
