My name is Emily Eakes. I am a 2026 graduate, looking for a school with a competitive softball team and a strong education system. I am currently attending Long Reach High School and play for the MD Stars Fastpitch 18u. I mainly play catcher, 1st base, and right field for my travel team (MD Stars). I am also very comfortable playing any other position as I did for my high school team(Long Reach).
I feel that the biggest assets I bring to my team are leadership, my knowledge of the game, and giving 100% effort at all times. I have played in the higher age groups my whole life. I feel as if that has helped me be able to lead on and off the field. As well as growing my knowledge of the game by playing with girls who have more experience.
