Skylar Colburn '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello there, my name is Skylar Colburn, I am a 2024 graduate from Triton Regional High School (Byfield, Ma) who wants to go to the next level in softball! I have played softball for the past 8 years. I started out playing for my town team in 3rd grade (age 8) after trying out other sports such as skating, dance and soccer but after my first softball game I knew that this was the sport for me. I enrolled into the Rage Fastpitch practice team in 6th grade (age 11). After a couple of months I was asked to join the U12 traveling team. Last season, as a sophomore I played for the Triton High School Varsity Softball Team. For this upcoming season I will continue to play for the U18 Rage Fastpitch Salisbury Ma, and for the Triton Regional High School Team. I feel that the Rage facility is my home away from home as I am there almost everyday practicing. I really love the sport of softball and it’s my dream to play in college. Off the field I help my community in different aspects. I am a member of the Salisbury Leos Club. As a Leo we help families within the Salisbury community. This past year together with the Salisbury Lions we provided Ester, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner baskets to 25 Salisbury families in need. As the full-time catcher for Rage U18 and a Leo member I have learned how to bring the community and my team together. I feel that teamwork and communication is a big part of the game. I love to play and I am proud to be part of the Rage and Triton Softball Family.
