Faith Hewkin '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball since I was 4 years old, ever since I have stepped on that field softball has become an important part of my life. I am a coachable, teachable, and trainable player, I work hard in everything I do, I strive to be the best and better than I was. 

My freshman year I made my varsity softball team as the starting 3rd baseman and also was named to the Battle Creek All-City first team, SMAC Conference honorable mention (southwest MI athletic conference), and MI All district team awards, I was also selected as the best corner infielder in Battle Creek.

Not only am I hard working out on the field, but I am also very hardworking in school and in the classrooms. I study and work hard to keep and maintain a high GPA. I also have been inducted into NJHS, I am very focused and determined to always get a good grade on every assignment, test, and quiz. 

As a team leader, I aim to set a good example for everybody including myself. I also encourage my teammates in hopes that they will strive to be the very best that they can be.

My dream is to play college softball, the sport I love, and to go into the medical field to be a pediatric oncology nurse. I also want to pursue being a volunteer firefighter.
