Alexandra Logan '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a highly committed player and straight A student who works on strength, agility and conditioning 3-5 times a week. I work on sport specific training 3-4 times a week to improve my softball skills. My primary positions have been and currently are: 1B, Catcher and 3B. I've also played successfully in the outfield. I can and will play anwhere I'm asked to help my team. I've been told I'm very coachable and I get along with everyone. I always strive to improve my softball skills and knowledge of the game. I strongly value my education and am currently enrolled in a college prep curriculum, with advanced classes in Math, Science and Social Studies. I'm as dedicated to my studies as I am to softball. I am sure I'll have continued success in the college classroom, and would absolutely be thrilled to earn the opportunity to be a contributing team player in softball at the college level.  My fastest catching PTP time is 1.71 seconds to 2B. My height is 5'8" and my weight is 170lbs. Home-1B: 3.27 sec. Home-Home: 13.85 sec. Arm Speed: 55-57mph. (I'm planning to improve all those numbers.)  I'm planning to major in Science in college and my ultimate sports dream is to play softball at the college level, wherever my level of skills can take me. My motto is: To be early is to be on time. To be on time is to be late. To be late is not to care. I'm always early to practice and one of the last of the team to leave.
