Marisa Vermiglio '19 Recruiting Profile

My ultimate collegiate goal is to play 4 years of softball in a successful program. Another goal of mine is to graduate college with a degree in business. What makes me a great candidate for any team is that I always give 110%. There will never be a time where I am walking; I always hustle and never slack off. Also, I am very coachable and can take criticism and learn from it. School is just as important to me as softball is. I give my everything in the classroom and on the field along with being a leader. I do extracurricular activities outside of school that I also take very seriously. I truly believe in the value of education, living my life with high moral standards, and being fully committed to my goals and aspirations. As an athlete, I differ from others because failure is not an option for me. Babe Ruth once said, "It's hard to beat a person who never gives up" and these are the words that I live by.
