I did not start playing fastpitch until I was 10 years old. I quickly caught on and began pitching and playing infield. When I moved form recreation league to travel, high school and into club softball, I became a much better player and increased my softball I.Q. by studying the game. I have a sincere love for this game and cannot wait to get to the field. Although I am not the hardest throwing pitcher, I enjoy pitching, especially working counts and getting ground-ball outs. I throw a variety of off-speed pitches and have a really good change-up. As much as I enjoy pitching, I like playing second base even more. I feel that I am a leader on and off the field, constantly lifting up my teammates and encouraging them to bring their best. As much as I like working hard to improve myself and my team, I think having fun is just as important.
