Morgan Wiener '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My name is Morgan Wiener and I am from Shakopee, MN .  

I have been playing softball for as long as I can remember, since T-ball days.  My goals and aspirations are to get get a degree in exercise science/sports medicine with a minor in sports psychology.  I would also love to be able to pay softball while I am pursuing this dream.   I am strong candidate for recruitment as I feel I have overcome many challenges and setbacks as I got further on my softball career.  As you get older you have to try out and you are not promised a team.  You no longer are trying out to have fun, you are trying out to for specific spots to take away for others.  Unfortunately, I had to become resilient and go from team to team and learn out to adapt.  Which makes me I feel, likeable, friendly, a team player, and I work hard.   

I feel that have athletics in my life actually makes me a better student.  It keeps me focused, busy, and grounded.  I do better in school as I am more structured.  I am not afraid to ask questions, and I know strengths and weaknesses and am looking for ways to improve.  

I feel that I have great personality and I get along with everyone.
