Hi, I am Sophie Wietzema from Worthington, Minnesota! I am a well-rounded athlete but softball is my strong suit. I know I can play at the college level because of my knowledge about the sport. I am a coachable athlete. I will take constructive criticism to not only better myself but others around me. I am a good leader on the field, off, and in the classroom. I come with high energy to want to get better every day. I am a vocal athlete and will let everyone know what is going on in the game! I have always been a catcher. I am also available in any other spot! I have played every position (except pitcher) at a high level.

- I was asked to play with this team in the summer of 2020. Our biggest tournament was us going to Davenport, Iowa for the National Tournament!

- I have played on our hometown area team since I was 8! We play two double headers a week. We also go to about 6 tournaments each summer! We also have options to go once a week to better our skills and I did participate in those!

- I went to the camp to help further expose myself to coaches. I went to see if this is what I really want to do in college. But most importantly I wanted to further my knowledge and skills on the game of softball. I was introduced to new drills that I have now chosen to do at home!
