Layken Hall '18 Recruiting Profile

  My name is Jade Hall. I am 17 years old and have been playing softball since the age of 4 on various recreational an travel ball teams.

  When I was 12 I made the high school team at South Jones, and have been starting varsity since my freshman year, I'm currently a junior. My freshman and sophomore year I started at 2nd base, but my junior year I started at 3rd base. Throughout my years at South Jones, I have achieved many awards. 2nd Team All-District every season, and my coach's "All Hustle and Effort Award" and expect to get it this year as well. I love getting this award because, to me, it is the most important. It shows that I always give 110% no matter what I do, whether that be at a game, at practice, or just helping around the field.

 Ever since I was little I've always wanted to play college softball. I've watched numerous girls play on my television screen and I hope that will be me one day. I plan to major in Special Education in college.
