My name is Gracie Abercrombie, I’m a 2026 graduate and started my love for this sport when I began playing tee ball in kindergarten. It’s been my dream to play college softball since I watched Florida State win the World Series as a little kid. FSU has been my dream ever since. I live for moments like that and have a strong passion playing the game of softball. I strive to be the hardest worker and have big goals for myself that I am willing to work for and soon achieve. What makes me different from other players is my work ethic and support for my teammates. I have been told by past coaches I am a leader and my teammates appreciate my support through good and bad times. I believe hard work is more important than talent. I work hard in school and maintain an “A” average in all of my classes. I am willing to play for any team and for any coach. Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement.
