Kelly Blanchette '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Kelly Blanchette. I started playing softball when I was about 11, I fell in love with the sport, especially catching.  I started playing recreational league in Kalispell Montana, but I was born in Bozeman Montana.  I learned that I was a strong hitter and that I actually enjoyed batting a lot! I hit well enough that I was put on varsity my freshman year as a swing player so I could DH on varsity and start JV. I began to play in club league in 2021 and I am still playing and would like to continue to play. I have always been told how outgoing and kind I am and how good of a leader I have been. I have always taken the role of a leader on the field and off.  I also go to Univeristy of Helena and East Helena High School. I am graduating a year early and I am taking a full load of college credits as a dual enrollment student. I personally love to learn and play softball, it makes me feel very balanced and peaceful.
