I have thought about playing college softball since I started playing travel ball when I was 8 years old. I dream of taking my passion for the game to the collegiate level and work towards it every day. I have always been driven as an athlete to encourage teamwork, passion, and dedication. Coaches tell me that I am very coachable, and quick at making adjustments. That is something I believe is such a valuable lesson to be gained through this sport, that is also applicable off of the field and in the classroom. A trait that sets me apart from others is my resiliency. Whether it is on the field, on the mound, in the box, or in the classroom, I push myself for growth and success every day. I maintain a 4.0 while involved in four athletic programs during school, as well as taking honor/AP classes, and also being active in my student government group. I received first-team All-State in my first high school season as a sophomore. Most importantly, I am a team player and enjoy taking leadership positions to help encourage my teammates to push themselves so that we can develop as one whole unit. The game begins and ends with the girls on the field and how they work together. This is why I believe I am the perfect leader for your team.
