Sage Vanterpool '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Sage and I am seventeen years old from Kalispell, MT.  I have been playing softball since age 8, and competitively playing for the past 6 years.  I started pitching lessons at age ten and fell in love with the sport and position.   I lead our team my freshman year with the most home runs,  and won an award for "Dedicated to the Diamond" and "Defensive MVP of the Year".  I have been the starting pitcher since my Sophomore year for our AA High School.  At age 15, I made try outs for an 18u team out of Missoula, MT which is located 125 miles one way from my hometown.  When I am not on the field, you can find me on the mountain snowboarding, volunteering for North Valley Hospital (I want to be a surgeon), attending church group, and participating in the French and Spanish Clubs at my High School.  You will not find a more committed athlete and student with a great sense of humor, team spirit,  and has the desire to play at the collegiate level while studying to become a physician.  Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.  Sage
