Hello, I am Adrienne Roth and I live in Laurel Montana. Living in a smaller community that revolves around sports you learn so much about leadership and perseverance. In a small town most of the kids have a singular sport that they excel at and have played ever since they were very young. Mine happens to be softball and I have been playing ever since I was six years old. I was the youngest on my team so with that I was known as everyone's little sister. Which was a feeling I have never felt before being an only child. In my years of playing so far I have won a state travel championship along with two second place state travel championships. I also got the opportunity to play varsity my freshman year of high school. This taught me all about perseverance because I had to prove each and every day that I deserved to be there. All of my years of playing softball this was one of the hardest but also one of the most fun seasons of my life. I ended up leading the team to a third place state win for my high school. I made sisters who will last a lifetime which is something I have never had before. Even though I am passionate about softball, academics have always been important to me. I have always held myself to a high standard when it comes to grades. I am 4th in my class and have had a 4.0 GPA all throughout my schooling. Growing up as a student athlete my parents have always made it clear the student has to be the first priority. Overall, I love this sport and as much as it pushes me I wouldn't have it any other way.
