To whom it may concern,
My goals for the collegiate level is to see how my skills could help a team at the next level. Also, I would like to see and work with a team at the next stage of my softball career to improve my own skills as a player.
The reason I would make a good candidate is that I am a utility player and this could be an asset to a team. I am a great team player; with a positive attitude. The things that make me an asset are that I have a strong arm that can help for throwing a ball from the out field; also getting a ball to a base quicker when on the in field. I have the ability to play any position on the field so I could step in where ever I would be needed. I have strived to be quicker on my feet to help on the infield or outfield.
What sets me apart from other candidates is that I am a coachable athlete, willing to give 100% at whatever is asked of me, and committed to improving or trying new skills. I play multiple sports and always work hard to improve myself and my skills.
My academics are a struggle due to my dyslexia, but I always give a hundred percent in all of my work, I have learned to ask questions, advocate for myself, and use different tools to help me succeed in school. I look forward to continuing my education. Some areas that I am interested in are Forestry, Game Warden, also the Culinary Arts.
Sincerely,
Haylie Webster
