My name is Mikaela Miller, and I am a 2021 graduate. My goal is to attend college and start my education, and then transfer my credits to a school I can play softball for, while furthering my knowledge in sports medicine in 2022. I have always aspired to have the privilege of playing softball at the college level, while furthering my knowledge in my chosen field of study. I would be a good candidate for your team because I am a firm believer in hard work, along with team work. Throughout my life, and my relationship with softball, I have realized that if I want to become a successful athlete I have to be willing to put in the work to get to where I want to be. Not only will I work to better myself as a player through hard work, and constructive feedback from coaches, but I will also work to do my part to better the team, and my teammates, while working to help both be as successful as possible. I personally believe hard work in the classroom is just as important as hard work on the softball field. I have had setbacks in my relationship with softball, but through these setbacks I believe God has grown my character, and my drive for the game of softball. When I see something needs to be done, I take initiative, and get what needs to be done completed. I will always work to better myself for my team, and I am always looking for constructive feedback from coaches, and my fellow teammates, to help me become the player I strive to be. Thank you for reading my personal statement. Mikaela Miller.
