I have been playing softball since i was 8 years old. Since a young age I have been driven to chase my dreams and play softball at the university level.
One of the hardest obstacles I have overcome is an injury to my thumb causing me to not be able to participate in training for 4 months in preparation for the then upcoming season, after lots of physiotherapy and strengthening I was able to overcome the pain and frustration that presented themselves during that time.
I try to be a leader through example while encouraging my teammates to work hard and to be the best player and person they can be. I am fully dedicated to being one of the hardest working players out on the field at all times while being very open and coach-able to all.
In the classroom I work hard to maintain a high GPA. I also volunteer coaching the learn to play program in my community involving young girls ages 3-8 throughout the summer months.
I would like to attend a university where i will be able to challenge myself both academically and athletically. I am open to many options and would like to find a good fitting highly competitive university where I can accomplish my goals.
