Brianna Lucacio '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brianna Lucacio and I am currently a freshman at Salem, NH High School.  I have been playing softball since t-ball and I knew from a young age that this sport was something I wanted to play in college.  Since t-ball, I played a few years on my town rec league and have been playing with travel ball teams for the last 6 years.  Growing as both a player and as a person, I have taken great pride in learning the sport and being the best teammate that I can be in whatever capacity the coach needs me in. 

As a freshman, I am adjusting to high school where I am taking two honors classes as well as taking double science my first semester.  Having played softball both years for my middle school team, I am looking forward to playing high school ball this spring when the season starts.  I know that with a heavy course load I will need to balance my school with softball but it is something that I am willing to commit to.  

I am still not sure what I want to study in college but my interests are in the sciences and perhaps nursing.  Things like forensics and criminology also interest me but my main focus is doing the best I can both on and off the field.

Although I would like to go to college in the south, I am willing to go where I feel it would be a good fit.  My parents are very supportive of me in both my softball and academic goals and I am thankful for all the time and effort they put into helping me achieve my dreams.  I know that I am only a freshman, and the next few years will go by very quickly. I have known that softball is something I have wanted to play in college for a long time and I will do whatever I can to  get there.
