Deja Suero '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Deja Suero and I'm a hardworking softball player. I'm truly dedicated to this sport. I'm an athlete who knows the game of softball from the back of my hand. My most important accomplishments were getting first team all league for softball as a freshman and sophomore. Along with that breaking two school records as a freshman, being on varsity since my freshman year. 

Knowing that I'm capable of playing softball in college makes me more passionate for this sport. I am told of what a passionate and emotional player I am from people on and off the field. I have quit some other hobbies such as basketball, to put my main focus on softball, and joined track so I can stay in shape during the winter season. 

When it comes to choosing what school I would like to go to, my options are very big. I am open minded about colleges and hope to just find a college that fits me best. It doesn't matter about the size or location; if I can receive a good education and play softball I will be happy. My top two choices for a major as of right now is either Accounting or Business Communications. However, my major may change over the course of the rest of my high school career.

My realistic athletic objectives are to keep competing at a high level in the sport I love. Making a difference on the team and setting a precedent for those who come after me are other targets of mine. I would continue to smile if I knew at the end of the day that I had done my best and made an impact.
