Softball is a sport that I can not even imagine myself not playing. Its a huge part of my life. It is my escape from the stress of academics and just life in general. It is a place that I can go and just enjoy a game that I am good at, while having fun with my teammates. Not only do I play softball, but my mother played while she was in high school, and my father played baseball in high school. My younger sisters play softball as well. I am an extremely determined person, not only on the field, or during practice, but also in the academic field. I put more pressure on myself than anyone else because of the high expectations I set, and want to aspire to. I always put in maximum effort to do my very best. I have an aptitude to learn, I love to learn new things, and be able to expand my ability to become an even better player. All of my previous coaches have always said that i am extremely coachable. If I am given advice, or constructive criticism, I work very hard to apply that to the sport, and learn from it. I am also a team player, and support my team on and off the field. I make very strong connections with my teammates, and always do what is best for my team. Another strong attribute are my grades. I work very hard to get the best grades that I possibly can. I am in all honors courses, my freshman year. I had a 4.22 GPA the first marking period, and a 3.9 GPA the second marking period. I not only push myself in expanding my softball capabilities, but also push myself in academics, and will continue to my entire high school career. I am extremely reliable, and would not cause any eligibility issues regarding grades.
