2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I am a student at Hanover Park High School and will graduate in 2026. I play for the NJ Heist Gold with a primary position of catcher but I also play outfield and 1st base. I am a multi-sport athlete (soccer and basketball) but my passion is softball. I have been playing the sport since I was in kindergarten and look forward to getting on the field each and every day. I received the Morris County Coaches Award and was named to 1st Team All Confernece in 2024. I am a true team player and a leader - whether it be playing whatever position I am needed in, cheering on my teammates from the bench or giving 110% on the field. I am willing to work hard, learn new things and be a coachable athlete.
In addition to being a competitive athlete, I take academics very seriously. I have been named to the Distinguished Honor Roll every marking period and have a challenging academic schedule with honors and AP Classes. My cumulative GPA to date is 4.45.
I look forward to continuing my softball career in college at a school that will allow me to thrive both athletically and academically.
