I fell in love with the game early on. I love being on a team and the atmosphere that surrounds that. I love that I have found something that, not only I am really good at, but I love to do and am passionate about as well.
I started catching when I was in first grade. Nobody else wanted to play that position, so I stepped up and saw it as an opportunity to be able to touch the ball every pitch instead of waiting for it to be hit to me in the field. It turns out that I was made for catching. As a natural born leader, I loved being a part of every play and being the leader on the field.
I have always been a straight A student and take pride in all of my work. My goal is to attend a college where I can pursue my academic goals in addition to playing and excelling at softball and continuing my love for the game.
