Softball has been part of my life - a big part - for more than 10 years. And I've worked hard on and off the field to make sure it doesn't end with my high school career. Even though our high school season was canceled last year, and our club team played in fewer tournaments than usual, I used the downtime wisely. I joined strength and speed training classes at my gym, I took hundreds of reps each week from my hitting coach, logged countless hours of tee work in my basement, and put together an aggressive academic schedule of AP and honors classes. This dedication and commitment will help me overcome the academic and athletic challenges I’ll face in college, and possibly later, in medical school. I have a long, exciting, uncertain road ahead. I can’t wait to get started.
