Brianna Koref '16 Recruiting Profile

Since I was a little girl playing softball for my local town recreation team, I knew that I have a special talent and that I wanted to play softball in College, I now play softball year round. I have been the starting pitcher on both my club teams and my middle school teams. When I was in middle school I was the only 6th grader who made the team and I started most of the games. During my Freshman year in High School (2013) I was the only Freshman to make varsity, my first varsity game I pitched 2.1 innings and had 6 strike outs. My total innings pitched as a freshman was 41.1 and I recorded 49 strike outs. On my club team two years ago we played in the USSSA World Series which was in Orlando Florida and we did fairly well. This year my club team is going down to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to play in the Triple Crown Nationals, which they won two years ago.  I have hitting and pitching lessons. I am hoping that I am able to make a D1 roster but I am also looking for a great academic program as well. As I get older I hope to achieve my goals and be the best that I can be.
