Alexis Palumbo '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend a university that challenges me both academically and athletically. I plan on becoming a pharmacist and would like to study biochemistry, chemistry, or pharmaceutical sciences. I attend a very academically rigorous high school and want to be pushed just as hard in college.  I take all honors and AP courses. Although difficult, I feel these classes will do nothing but prepare me for the challenges that lie ahead in college. Every second I am on a softball field, I feel it is my duty to perform to the best of my abilities. I will do everything in my power to win and help my teammates succeed. My hardworking, driven attitude allows me to possess a leadership role on and off the field. I love communicating with my teammates and precisely thinking of what to do in a situation, but am very flexible and adapt easily. I do not dwell on the negative, but have learned to improve from it. Being a part of a team is the most crucial part of the game. We win as a team and lose as a team. People feed off of each others successes and failures. I feel it is an obligation for a teammate to do their best to help the team work together to achieve the ultimate goal of winning.
