My name is Tomeika Peshlakai; I am a senior at Shiprock High School, a public school located in Shiprock, NM. I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My goal is to explore a Science major that will help position me well for a Dental Hygiene program. I am not overly concerned of the division level; the division level does not matter, all that matters is being given the opportunity to continue playing the sport after high school. I am willing to put whatever it takes in becoming the best softball player I’m capable of being. I fully understand that academics are the most essential element of college but I believe that being part of a team creates life long bonds, teamwork, and character. Throughout my high school years I have always tested myself with difficult classes. For example, math is not my strength but I have challenged myself by taking honors math courses. I believe that the only way to get better at something is by challenging and pushing yourself to the limit. This is why I find softball so appealing. Softball is not an easy game. It’s a game of precision, timing, and focus.
Thank You for taking the time to read my profile,
