Maria Gonzalez '14 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Maria Victoria Gonzalez. I am looking forward to pursing a double-major in Nursing and P.E. Teacher. I aspire to have good grades and play competitive on the field. I am a very competitive athlete and hard worker on and off the field. I am very open to all and any oppurtunities on and off the field. I want to play colliegate level since I was 5 years old. I started off playing baseball at 5 years old because they didn't have softball leagues in New York City(Brooklyn) at that time. From their I played softball through junior high school and currently playing High School Varsity Softball since my sophomore year. I also am an all around athlete and play any sport. I also explored a sport in my freshmen year and decided to try out. I started bowling in my freshmen year and made Varsity that year. I love being athletic, running and being active as much as I possibly can be. I am researching a lot of colleges and I am open to all information from any coaches and colleges that can guide me to finding the right match for me. I want to play college level softball no matter what the circumstances may be. I do not care what division i play in college because getting my education and my career started is the reason of going to college; That's the most important thing.
