Miriam Fike '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Miriam Fike.  I am currently in 9th grade at Medina High School in Medina, New York. I am 5’ 6” and weigh 115 pounds. I am a first baseman and outfielder.  I have been playing softball all my life, and I truly love nothing more than to compete on the diamond. I have great respect for the game and the people I have played with. I have had the opportunity to play for great coaches and they have all helped me to become the player I am today.  I value teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership in softball and my everyday life.

I am extremely motivated to play softball in college. I have an advanced course load and strive to always do my very best academically.  I do not want any College or University to ever be able to look at me and say that I did not completely challenge myself on the field or in the classroom. I am looking for a college where I can continue to grow under experienced coaches while playing at a high level of competitive softball. I believe I have the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills necessary to make an immediate impact on your program.  Academically, I am looking to major in physical therapy or related field.
