Personal Statement

Playing softball at the collegiate level, has always been a dream of mine, not only because I love the sport, but I would love to follow in both of my parents footsteps. I have worked hard throughout high school by taking the hardest classes they have to offer so that I would be prepared when I entered into college. I have worked hard on my own, participated in travel softball, and have been on my high school varsity team for the last four years. I originally had an athletic and academic scholarship at Notre Dame College, but they unfortunately closed due to financial issues. I sincerely hope I will be able to find a new college family and a spot on a new softball roster.

AwardsStudent of the month in 2022 Principal’s breakfast my freshman, sophomore, and junior year so far I was in the 4.0 club my freshman and sophomore year I have been on the honor roll every quarter since my freshman year
ActivitiesI was inducted into the National Honor Society my junior year and have stayed in it for the past two years. I was voted into the secretary position this year which requires me to take attendance and notes during meetings, keep track of the activity calendar, and log all of the members’ required volunteer hours. I have also been a part of the Ruri-Teens club since my sophomore year and have been named the president this year. This club is just a way to get more volunteer hours in the community but be able to do it with friends or people you know.
