It has been my dream to compete at the collegiate level since the age of nine. I still remember playing T-Ball while my family lived in California at the age of five. Watching my father travel and play slow pitch softball made me gain a deep passion for the game of Softball. I grew up on the field with my dad coaching High School softball from the age of 6 to 9 and fell in love with the game as I got to practice with the High School team. During this time I also played travel ball and continued to gain a deeper passion for the sport. Growing up in a military family consistently moving throughout the country to include Hawaii, I had the pleasure of meeting new friends and adapting to the many different cultures of the locations we lived. Additionally, I gained a softball family in many different locations throughout the nation. Anyone who knows me, knows I live for this game as being on a field is one of my favorite places to be. I have also learned the importance of being successful in the classroom. Academics are key to my success and I have really put focus to that over the past year and plan to ensure I continue to grow academically. I believe with success on the softball field and in the classroom, I can truly make a positive impact to a program. My hard work, dedication, leadership, and positive mindset have been applauded by many coaches throughout my time playing softball and I can only hope those attributes assist with me living my dream and playing softball at the collegiate level.
