Hello my name is Isla Haffner, and I’ve been playing softball since I was six years old. My goal is to continue playing throughout college, where I can push myself both academically and athletically. I aspire to be part of a college team that values hard work, teamwork, and personal growth, as I strive to reach my fullest potential on and off the field. I’m a dedicated player who gives 100% in every game and practice as best as I can and I'm always looking for ways to improve and grow as a player. Because I've been playing softball since I was six, I have experience on recreational, school, and travel teams. I’m known for my leadership, commitment, and love for the game, always ready to support my teammates and put in the work to succeed together. What sets me apart is my versatility as an all-around player (except pitcher) and my focus on team success. My main positions are catcher and second base, but I am capable of adapting to almost any role, which allows me to support my team where I’m needed most. I’m also recognized for my work ethic and leadership, which extend to my academics and other aspects of my life. My determination, adaptability, and team-first mindset are qualities I believe will make a positive impact on any team.
