Elizabeth Hohlefelder '24 Recruiting Profile

HI! My name is Elizabeth Hohlefelder (Liz) . I am in my junior year at Bishop Watterson High School during the 2022-2023 academic year.  I've played softball most of my young life, and love how it constantly challenges me competitively, but more than that, how the strategic part of the game keeps me engaged and always thinking at all times.  You must be prepared for what situations comes your way.  I realize softball is important part my life, but most important to me is my Faith.   My faith in God is what keeps everything in perspective for me, guides me in my values and prioritizes what's important to me in life.

I made our high school Varsity team as a Freshman and earned a starting spot as a 3rd baseman.  I had the 2nd  highest batting average in my Sophomore year with .522 batting avg. with an on base % of .568 and made second team All-District.  I enjoy being a team member and working hard for my coaches.  I try hard to lead the team and guide the plays on the field.  In addition to softball, I made the Varsity Tennis Team my Freshman year, which I played doubles with my older sister and made State Districts.  I continue to play on the Varsity Tennis team.  

I would like to pursue a career in Physical Therapy and Sports Management. I would love to find a position in a sports related field.  I enjoy working in teams and groups, building friendships and making connections.

I look forward to the opportunity to continue to grow on the field fueling my passion for the game while getting a great education. I will do my best to represent any university and my coaches in a positive light.
