Throughout the ample amount of years I have participated in softball it has shaped me into the person I am today. Year after year as I grow older not only does my love for softball grow, the competitiveness inside of me does too. Sports have taught me perseverance, dedication, and countless amounts of lessons along the way. As I have been a part of an abundance of different sport teams, it has allowed me to learn the importance of teamwork. If I tend to struggle, I am always looking for a time to get reps in and obtain information from others to help me adjust. My main goal is to never let my team down and to push myself to be better in every way to help us succeed. Not only do I like to see myself succeed but I also enjoy supporting my teammates and helping them along their paths to success.
Academics play a major role in my life as my goal is to hold a 4.0 as a multi-sport highschooler while also pushing myself with advanced classes. In school, I always try to find myself a challenge to help me push myself to learn to my greatest ability. As I have experienced many years of school, it has taught me that you will not always be perfect and there is room for improvement. As long as you work hard and don't give up, everyone should be able to reach their goals or make great strides in improvement. School has also allowed me to learn from others, whether it was studying habits or simple life skills. I have been a part of Student Council for 3 years now and I continue to strive to be a part every year. This year I took a new step and joined FCCLA that allowed me several opportunities to show a little act of kindness throughout our school. As I proceed through high school, I aim to be in National Honor Society. I believe that all of this will help me in the future to be successful throughout college and in completing my ultimate goal of pursuing my career.
My future goal is to most importantly attend a school that will support me academically on and off the field. I am interested in a branch of Engineering but not quite sure on what branch yet. The idea of critical thinking and working with numbers has been a great joy for me throughout school, which has set the stage for my interest in Engineering. Not only would I like to show my skills academically, but I want to show my skills on the field. I am willing to travel further distances, however, my ultimate goal at the end of the day is to build lifelong relationships, have fun, and pursue my career.
