Personal Statement

Hello and thank you for taking time to view my recruitment profile! 

My name is Abigail Walters and I am a 2022 graduate from Fairborn High School. I currently play for Miami Valley Xpress Nuess   and this year I returned to play varsity for my 3rd year. I play 1st base, 3rd base, Utility, and DH for my team and past teams.  Over the years my love for softball has grown as it is something that fulfills all of my time.  I have been playing since I was 10 years old and have enjoyed every second of my time playing. This year means a little bit more to me as one of my biggest supporters was diagnosed with Leukemia earlier in the year, so this season  I have pushed myself very hard so I can better myself for my team, but also for him as he cannot actively watch me play this season due to his diagnosis.
