Softball has always been a HUGE part of my life. I've played since I was 4 years old and I was never afraid to get down and dirty or try something new. In 3rd grade I started pitching and I have stuck with it ever since. It is crazy to see how far I have come and how much I have learned and grown. To think that I could go further and learn more and grow with the sport I love is amazing to think about. I want to learn more, I want become a better player than I am now, and I want to do it at a higher level of competition. I want to further my education while playing softball because it is an amazing opportunity. Over the past few years I have become an outfielder and I have fallen in love with being out there and just chasing down fly balls and making big throws back into the infield .
I have been involved with fastpitch softball since I was ten years old. I started travel softball when I was twelve, I have played for five years and I am still currently playing travel softball with Lady Pride. I have played High School softball for a year and am getting ready for my second season, I did not play my Freshman year but did run track my Freshman year of High School. I also play soccer and basketball. I have played soccer for twelve years and basketball for eleven years. I was on Varsity soccer my Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years of high school and played select soccer on Lewisburg Lady Thunder for four years. I played Varsity basketball my Freshman and Sophomore year. I am an all-around athlete, I can play just about anywhere. I take advice and use it to my advantage on and off the field. I am a good listener and I have been told by my coaches, whether I know it or not, I am a silent leader, girls on my team watch and learn from what I do. I get along with anyone and everyone because my team is not just my team they are my family, they are my sisters. I will put in the work and I will give it 100% all the time.
Playing the sport I love while earning my college degree is an amazing and huge opportunity and if I get to experience it I would be beyond blessed and grateful. I would also appreciate a scholarship for college to help with financing my college education and I would like to stay close to home but if I have to travel a bit I am willing to do so. Maintaining a 3.5 or higher GPA in college is important to me as well. I would like to be in an area with a good atmosphere and around good people. Thank you for viewing my profile!
