Ever since I was about 10, I wanted to be a Forensic Anthropologist. The amount of crime TV shows, movies, and documentaries I watched, and still watch, is probably a little unhealthy. Just like most people, I hoped to get a scholarship, but not one for academics or even just being left-handed, I wanted/want a softball scholarship. I've always thought of myself as a good player and teammate. I play my part without complaints, I'm always cheering a teammate up if she had missed a ball, and not only that, I am there to back her up as well. I have played almost every position on the field. I was a catcher, then I got moved to the outfield, then second base, then third base, and I currently hold a starting position as a shortstop, even doing some pitching along the way. My coaches have told me throughout the years that I am a very good base runner. Not only am I smart on the bases, but I am also quick on my feet and quick to make decisions.
I do very well in school. I pay attention, get my work done, and ask A LOT of questions. My GPA has never fallen short of 3.2, and I have even taken some College Prep classes. I took College Prep English during my freshman year of high school.
I think I am a very good candidate for your team and would help your team thrive even further than they already have.
