My name is Katelyn Miller and I am a 2027 P/1B from Louisville, Ohio where I am a freshman at Louisville High School. I also play travel ball for Oho Laser Black 09 14U – Mansfield, OH. I have been playing softball since I was 7 years old and have a lot of passion for the sport. I’ve been involved in other sports basketball, volleyball and track but I’ve always chose softball as my top priority. I am determined to reach my goal of playing in college and will work as hard as I can to get there. I believe my athleticism and movement on my pitch at my position helps set me apart from other players. Since my return to the field after left hip larum tear repair in February 2023, I have pitched 19 innings with only 13 hits and 8 runs with 26 strike outs with other teams batting average .194. My current batting average is .238 with .542 on base percentage. My fielding percentage is .944 this fall season. I am currently takin 3 advanced honors classes at school while playing for my high school freshman volleyball team, all while maintaining at 3.9 GPA. I would like to major in Environmental Sciences. Playing softball has help me make lifelong friends, stay disciplined, and have a great work ethic. I am driven to play for my high school softball team this year and become an asset on the mound, at first and with my bat, with my goal to play at the collegiate level.
