2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
- I’ve played soccer, basketball and softball. I even did gymnastics and cheer. But out of all of those I only fell in love with one, softball. I remember the first time I put a helmet on and held a bat. I was only 4 years old yet I knew that this sport was it for me. It wasn’t until 2016 when I started playing travel, but the competition that it gave, the new aspect it brought to me made me fall in love with the sport even more. I fell in love with the speed and the drive it gave me. Not only on the field but in the class room and in life. The thought of softball makes me excited and feel like I can do anything. I love the pressure it gives me and the feeling of winning a big game with my teammates makes it all the better. I love this sport and playing college is a big, no not big, a enormous dream of mine. And to have an opportunity to make that dream come true would be everything for me.
