By competing in softball, basketball, and track I have learned about leadership, hard work, and commitment. I became interested in sports at a young age because my dad was a coach and my older brothers competed in athletics as well. I have learned from playing sports that I am harder on myself than the coaches are, and it is important to have a good attitude because somewhere there are little kids that look up to you. It is also important to keep my grades up through high school and college. My favorite subjects are math and science because they come easy to me. Something I think sets me aside from others similar to me is that I don't procrastinate when I get an assignment for school. I have a better understanding of money because I raise cattle to save for college. Raising cattle to show has given me the responsibility of getting up, washing, and working hair to make sure they look the best that they can
