Savannah Evans '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Savannah Evans.  I graduate in 2020 from Lincoln Christian School located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  I plan on majoring in Physical Therapy in college and further pursue my love for the game of softball.  My family plays a large role in why I love the sport and give me great support and encouragement.  I started playing softball when I was 5 years old and have increased a love for the sport the more I play.  I began pitching when I was 14, but for the previous 9 months before getting on the mound, I just pitched in lessons and practices.  My primary position before pitcher was first base and my secondary was outfield, but now my primary is pitcher and secondary positions are first base and outfield.  Throughout my softball career, I have learned life lessons that will carry into my adulthood.  I believe when bonds are created, so is leadership, teamwork and character.  Academically, I am in every class I need to take to get my credits for college.  I push myself to be a better player and person every chance I get.  I feel I can make an immediate impact at the next level and look forward to doing whatever I can to help the program reach our goals.
