My name is Madison "Maddie" Moreno. I am a 14 year old high school Freshman (2028). My goal is to play college softball at any level. I have been playing softball since I was 4 and travel ball since I was 6. Currently, I am playing travel ball for an HSA 18u team. The team travels within the state of Oklahoma and visits numerous Junior colleges to get seen. I was a starter for my high school varsity team and led the team in numerous categories in batting, fielding, and pitching. I am a 4.0 student, but I haven't taken the ACT yet. I was the 8th grade Valedictorian of my class last year. I would love to study Education, but am still open to learning about other fields of study. I am a power hitter, but can also lay down a bunt if needed. I am not speedy, but I have a high softball IQ and I am constantly working on building my speed. My best position is 1st base, I love making the plays that people don't think can be made, however I can also play 3rd and I am a RHP. I had to be the starting pitcher for my high school team this season and it was a valuable learning experience. My favorite thing about softball is building relationships with my teammates, cheering in the dugouts, and learning new things to improve myself. I am also involved in cheerleading, basketball, FCA, and yearbook. I love babysitting and working with kids.
