My goal is to play college softball at a school that will help me achieve my academic and athletic goals. As a defensive player, I play a range of different positions. I primarily play second base however, I also play the outfield and third base. Last season, my team's third basemen was injured. I took the initiative to learn this new position for the benefit of my team and embrace this new challenge. Through this experience, I was able to become a better player and learn the importance of being a good team member. Offensively, I am able to hit on both sides of the plate. I am able to bunt from the left side, but also hit and bunt from the right side of the plate. A large part of my focus is also at school. I hope to attend a school that challenges me academically and also athletically. I believe my versatility in both defence and offence, my positive attitude and determination in all I do is what would make me a great asset for any school.
