Maddison Depencier '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi coach, My name is Maddison Depencier. I have been playing softball since I was 8 years old and fell in love with it the second I stepped onto the field. I love many parts of the game but pitching is my biggest passion. Being on the mound to me feels like a second home, the adrenalin rush I get from being out there and competing is one of my favorite feelings.  Since I was really young I aspired to play at a collegiate level and take softball as far as I can. I have many pitches and love the challenge of facing elite hitters. I have been a captain on my softball team for a couple of years and try to be an encouraging leader at all times. I am very coachable and strive to become better at each practice and game. 

When I'm not playing ball, I work hard in school to keep a high GPA and push myself to become a better student. I am currently an executive on our Student Athletic Association and volunteer at local sporting events and charities often. 

My goal is to attend a university where I know I can continue to better myself as a student and as an athlete. Overall, I want to compete at the highest level possible and help my team succeed.
