Hello! My name is Ella Shantz, I’m a middle infielder(1)and outfielder(2) from Ontario, Canada. I’m interested in going abroad and playing softball at the University/college level in the states. All seven years that I’ve played competitve softball I’ve grown to love it more every year. With loving the sport I gained goals that I’ve been encouraged to accomplish, such as playing in the states.
During the years, I’ve learned to grow as a player and I’m encouraged to continue growing as a player. I work hard on and off the field as I feel hard work pays off in life. During 2022 after my teams provincials I was grateful to receive the top player award for the bronze medal game, as it was one of my biggest accomplishments as an athlete yet. I feel as though winning that award is an example of why I think hard work pays off.
I want to personally thank you for reading a little about me, and getting to know me as an athlete, it’s greatly appreciated.
Ella Shantz
