Paityn Willoughby '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Paityn Willoughby and I am a 2017 graduate from Newberg, Oregon. My goal is to compete in the sport of softball as a student-athlete at the next level.  

I currently play for BLAZE-Gold 16A based primarily out of the Portland, Oregon area. My primary position is short stop and my secondary positions are third base and second base. I am a right-handed fielder, but hit from the left side. I have the ability to both, slap (I have been clocked at 2.8 home to 1st  at the University of Oregon Elite Fall Camp, the beginning of October) and hit for power (I lead my team in RBI’s hitting 3rd in our batting order) I am 5’8 and weigh 135 lbs. I carry a 3.9 grade-point average and am interested in pursuing my education so that I can continue to work with athletes when my playing career is over.
