Hello, my name is Katie Sutton and I live in Sherwood, Oregon. I will be graduating high school in 2021. My primary position is pitcher and I also play second base and outfield. I really enjoy school and carry a 3.93 GPA. I have been playing softball and pitching since I was 10 years old.
My goals are to maintain a very high GPA throughout my entire high school career and continue my strong work ethic and study habits into college. My career goal after college is to be a nurse. I have wanted to be a nurse for as along as I can remember. The opportunity to help people is something I look forward to doing for a career. Athletically, I want to continue my softball career into college and work hard and be successful at the collegiate level.
My dedication and passion for softball is unparalleled. I work hard at practice to be the best pitcher I can be as well as working in the weight room and on my cardio. I know I have the passion and dedication to play at the next level.
I am also in the Junior National Honor Society, along with participating in my local FCA(Fellowship Of Christian Athletes) program. I have also been studying American Sign Language and hope to use my knowledge of ASL in my career as well and my everyday life.
Thank you for your interest in me as a prospective athlete for your program!
