It's my pleasure to introduce myself to you! I'm Haylie Rimmey and I've played softball since I was 10 years old, graduation year of 2023. I fell in love with the sport and quickly progressed to travel leagues so that I could continue to push my abilities and strive to reach my athletic goals.
My goals to excel in softball equally match my big academic goals. It is my desire to be accepted by a University where my personal values and academic dreams can be realized. Exercise Science is my current educational interest.
I am a driven athlete and student and am told that my positive outlook helps me overcome challenges and obstacles that life presents. With every opportunity I had on the field, I craved more and looked forward to the next on-field experience I received to be part of the greatest sport I've known. The "season" will always be my favorite time of year, however, as soon as it ends, I find myself instantly missing everything that the season and team are to me. Post-season, I work extremely hard to prepare for what is next. My evenings are occupied by productive time in the batting cage strengthening my swing and building on my glove-work skills. In addition, I can be found on the field practicing or running to support a solid workout schedule as well as maintaining a lifting and agility exercise regimen to be in the best shape possible.
I take pride in my on-field accomplishments and I'm thankful to my coaches, teammates, and supporters who have pushed me to be the best version of myself. My teammates, coaches, and supporters are my softball family and I am excited to continue to grow this family with an opportunity to play at the collegiate level!
