Kyra Neiswender '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Kyra Neiswender and I am a 2025 graduate. It has always been my dream to play college softball at the highest level possible. I am very motivated and driven to always do my best. I am very competitive in not only athletics, but also my academics.

In athletics, I am a freshman starter on our high school varsity volleyball team, I play on a women’s fastpitch softball team, I made the USSSA All American Northeast team, and I play on a 16A team where we compete in 16A and 18U tournaments. I have been told by many people, that I am a very good leader. I am able to tell apart girls who are playing for the long run, and girls who are playing just for the fun. I can then lead in a way for our team to be competitive, successful, and have fun.

I am also a leader in the classroom. I have been chosen by teachers and peers to participate in three leadership conferences.I was awarded several awards when graduating from junior high school, the Richard W. Freed award (most outstanding eighth grade student in recognition of both personal achievements and contributions to the school), the Good Citizenship Award, the Presidential Excellence Award, the American Legion of Schools Award, and Best Overall Student Award.

Lastly, I am a very hardworking person in every aspect. I am very caring, thoughtful, dedicated, and social. In sports and in the classroom I constantly support my teammates and friends.
