Riley Assalone '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Riley Assalone. I am a Junior at DuBois Area Catholic School in Pennsylvania. I play softball, soccer, and basketball. I am a member of the National Honor Society. I was the starting pitcher in the D9 Class A District Championship Game my freshman year of high school. I threw a 3-hit shutout to lead my team to a 4-0 victory. I have been playing softball since I was seven; and have been pitching since I was nine. I have played soccer and basketball since 5th grade. My travel softball team is the Silver Creek Raw 18u.

I work very hard in every sport I play. I give it my all on and off the field/court. I practice hard to become a better team and individual player. As a result of my hard work I am a varsity starter in all three sports I play. I study hard and do my homework to try and maintain a 4.0 GPA so I can do all the activities I want to. I take courses and classes that challenge my academic ability and work hard to maintain a A-average in those classes. I am mostly interested in small schools in an surrounding Pennsylvania. I am looking for a school that can help me achieve my goals on the field and in the classroom.
